“The greatest gift you have been given is the gift to see good, and beauty, and love when you look in the mirror. Then, knowing all those gifts come from God.”

What do you see?
When I look in the mirror, I can’t help but be amazed at the crazy curls God gave me. When I tug on a curl, it bounces back. It’s like magic. I say to myself, “How does God do that.”
For the first few decades of my life, I didn’t appreciate my crazy hair or my gifts. In my teens, I used to straighten my hair, iron my hair, and tie it up. With age comes wisdom. It took a lot of bumps and bruises and changes along the way.
Now, I’ve learned to be ME, accept how I’m different. I’m not thin, or brilliant, or what some might call beautiful. But, I realize that I am a gift from God. He doesn’t make mistakes. I am proud of who I am, and when I look in the mirror, I say,”Thank you! Thank you for your blessings.”
Again, the curls are just a metaphor for life. Appreciate your gifts and your differences. Who decides what is beautiful and perfect? YOU DO! God already knows.
When you look in the mirror, I hope you see what I see and say to yourself, “YOU ARE AMAZING!”
Thank you so very much!🌹
