Wednesday:) What In The World? A Busy Day!

“It is not enough to be busy; so are the ants. The question is: What are we busy about?” ― Henry David Thoreau

Sometimes I just have one of those non stop, run around, spin my wheels kinda days. Today was one of them.

I started off at the stupid dentist for my stupid implant and stupid crown appointment. Don’t get me wrong, none of the afore mentioned are stupid, but I’m tired of of the ten thousand dollar tooth saga.AND…I’m still not done.

A picture says a thousand words. I had to mumble, but you get the idea. Dr. Lynch is working on phase two of the implant.

Yes, I took a picture of whatever the heck that is. Dr. Lynch’s assistant today was…you’d never guess? Her name was Toni. I was amused. There aren’t too many of us out there. Toni asked me if Imwanted a little laughing gas before the doctor started numbing me up and working. I told that I get clostraphobic with that masks thing. I said, “No laughing gas, just tell me a few real funny jokes!” Yes, I am annoying witty, even at the dentist.

Then, I had to go down the hall to Doctor Markahm to get a crown measured and made. He did the previous one on that tooth…we won’t even go there.

Paula was putting that Nasty goopy stuff in to make the mold. See how everyone is smiling. Sure, they’re not numb and annoyed.

So, after a couple of hours there, I mozied off to the square to chat with friends, actually, I mostly mumbled, with no feeling on my left side. I stopped at the McKinney Visitors Center and mumbled at Miss Beth and Miss Sue.

Then, I went over to Sweet Spot Bakery and ran into Miss Elizabeth on her way to pick up lunch. I walked along with her, and there on the sidewalk, I found some money. If you recall, I’m always finding money. DON’T GET TOO EXCITED! It was $1,000! But it was pretend play money. The point is, I’m pretty lucky.

I sat with Miss Elizabeth and Kenzie while they ate lunch. They offered to share, but as you recall, I couldn’t feel my face, much less eat.

Later, Mr. Guy popped in for his afternoon coffee and brownie break. I went over and mumbled at him for a while. We had a nice visit.

I drove home, and the minute I walked in the door, I began my mini cupcake baking frenzy. But, that’s at story is for tomorrow, when I finish the frenzy. I baked about 140 mini cupcakes! Yikes!

Now, I’m writing my blog, need a quick shower, then drive over to St. Gabriel for our St. Helen’s DAS, Divorced and Separated support group at 7. I’ll get home around 9, but I’ll pick up little Bella on my way home and take her for a little walk and a sleep over. (Bella is a dog, in case you wondered.)

The last thing will be, fall down and collapse. Perhaps a glass of wine. It was a busy day, but a good busy day.
